Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device when you visit them. They allow the site to function correctly, remember your preferences and, in some cases, analyse how the site is used. Anything a site keeps in your browser's storage (localStorage or sessionStorage) is treated the same way, so we cover that here too.
2. What this site keeps in your browser
This site sets no cookies of its own: no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. Nor does it collect visit statistics: no analytics tool is loaded, with or without cookies.
The only thing it may keep in your browser is this:
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
rbk-idioma | Not a cookie, but a value kept in your own browser (localStorage). It is only stored if you close the “This page is also in English” notice shown on the Spanish pages to visitors whose browser is set to another language, so it is not shown to you again. It never leaves your device. | Until you clear it |
3. The booking calendar
The calendar used to book and to buy gift vouchers is the EscapeUp Booking System (EBS), from EscapeUp (escapeup.es). It loads on the booking page, the gifts page and the pages of the rooms booked through the calendar, as soon as they open and without asking you first: it is the service you came to use, and loading it sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. We checked this on 4 October 2026, with a browser holding no previous data.
To display itself, the calendar requests resources from these servers, and all of them receive your IP address, as any server does when your browser asks it for something:
- bookingsystem.escapeup.es and bookingsystemapi.escapeup.es, from EscapeUp: the calendar itself and each room's availability.
- fonts.googleapis.com, from Google (Google Fonts): the typeface the calendar uses.
- ip2c.org: works out from your IP which country you are connecting from, to suggest the country code for your phone number.
What happens to that data is explained in the privacy policy.
If you go on to pay — for a booking or a voucher — the payment gateway may set its own cookies at that step, to process the payment.
4. How to manage cookies
We show you no cookie notice because there is nothing optional to accept or decline. If that ever changes, we will ask you before loading it.
Either way, you can delete or block cookies and the data websites keep from your browser:
